Last year when I started my personal wellness transformation, I knew I needed to make a much-needed change and in an attempt to prevent further procrastination, I sat down in front of my computer and googled how to create a blog. After thirty minutes of research and a little time spent writing, my first blog post was completed and "52 Weeks of Me" was officially born; I'd hit the ground running and I've never looked back.
I've continued to focus on my personal health and wellness while also spending more time searching for opportunities to help others and celebrate their successes. While I'm certainly not perfect and still have my own setbacks, I remain focused on the target state and keep ploughing forward. With the formal 52 weeks coming to an end, I can’t help but find myself slightly lost and asking myself what’s next?
The more I think about it, the more I realize the next step needs to be larger than just me and any one person's perspective. I know there are many great success stories and learning opportunities out there and I want to harness this by building a community of real people who help each other through open and honest conversation. Did you know that studies have shown those who surround themselves with like-minded people are more likely to grow and improve their life? Due to understanding the path you're on, like-minded people can relate to your plight and help you work towards achieving your goals.
With that in mind, I've decided to start my very own Podcast entitled, "52 Weeks of Me." This podcast series will be dedicated to helping others through a collection of open discussions with professional experts, as well as individuals sharing their success stories as they strive to become the best version of themselves through improved work-life balance. It doesn't matter whether you're yet to start your journey, or have already reached your final destination, there's sure to be takeaways for everyone.
As I work to iron out the final details, I wanted to share this great news with all of you, as well as do a call for potential guests. It doesn't matter if you've read one blog or every single week, I know you've got an important story to tell and I'd love to help bring that story to life in order to help ourselves and others. If you're at all interested in participating in the series, please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm beyond excited for this new endeavor and can’t wait to take this next step with you all.
